God Sent a Yankee
In October of 1863 during the Civil War, a fiery young Southern belle and a Yankee major meet near her family’s plantation. When his occupying force comes to her Chretien Point, Louisiana, home, Cora can’t deny her attraction to the handsome and kind-hearted major. In danger of losing the plantation, Cora searches for a rumored treasure and must juggle her conflicting emotions, family criticism, opposition from her neighbors, and battling armies, while relying on her faith in God to help her make the right choices.
